British Telecoms (BT) have teamed up with Everything Everywhere (two mobile providers, T-Mobile & Orange) to create the UK's first ever 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) service. 200 people made up of 100 mobile users and another 100 fixed line customers in the Cornwall area have been selected to trial the new speedy standard on a day to day basis starting in September of this year. At last the UK is starting out on the long path to new and greater technologies that America and other countries have been taking advantage of for some time now.
